Our client is a leading consulting and engineering firm in pharma, food and chemistry.

Requirements

BSc (HBO) working and thinking level, preferably a relevant field of study such as safety/environment/technology, engineering or management.
A completed HVK training or integral safety science IVK or Management of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE).
Demonstrable experience in a comparable SHE role within a production environment.
Experience with ISO systems, RI&E processes and knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations (national and international).
Experience with crisis management, stakeholder management and skills in project management and budget management.
Intrinsically motivated, inspiring and with a passion for coaching and development.
You have a healthy dose of perspective, persuasiveness, and perseverance.
Fluency in Dutch and English.

Duties

It's a dynamic and challenging role! As an HSE Manager, you'll work with a complex network of stakeholders, from plant managers and government agencies to experienced operators on the line. Every moment of the day , you'll be working to make the production site even safer, healthier, and more sustainable.

Activities:

You are part of the Plant Management Team and actively involved in strategic and operational decision-making.
You develop the strategic plan for SHE and sustainability and create support for this within the organization.
You monitor the crisis management processes and coordinate the crisis approach and communication in the event of incidents.
You maintain a wide range of important contacts, both internal and external.
You manage the SHE project portfolio and the SHE budget.
